Because it is one of the most popular tourist spots in the world, Waikiki Beach is always packed with people. That means resorts are also packed, and so you can't be surprised when in-room relaxation or naptime is interrupted by noise from the hallways. So, what's the easiest way to experience everything Waikiki has to offer without dealing with loud neighbors? Choose the hotel with only one room per floor.

Opening September 7, Espacio the Jewel of Waikiki is a boutique hotel based on the concept of "ultra-exclusive personalized service and security." Just how exclusive is ultra-exclusive? For starters, each suite is its own floor and there are only nine suites in the entire hotel.

Measuring approximately 2,250-sq. ft., these suites feature two- or three-bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms. The design accents feel like they were plucked from a world traveler’s wish list. Marble slab dining room tables from Italy. Chandeliers and lighting from Morocco. Handmade Persian rugs. Various artwork imported from all over the world. All of which takes a backseat to the ocean view from each suite’s private balcony.

In addition to the world class design, Espacio’s suites also boast spa-style bathrooms, including dry-saunas, for those moments when guests aren’t being pampered with premium skincare treatments in the hotel’s on-site spa. A fully stocked kitchen will keep everyone happy with snacks and drinks, and in-suite chef service is also an option for those mornings or evenings when leaving the balcony isn’t an option. Lighting and temperature are controlled by iPads that also provide updates on personal services, like when the chef will arrive for your private dinner.

Guests don’t have to walk far for dinner at Mugen, Espacio’s on-site dining option that features a Japanese-French menu from Chef Jason Yamaguchi, as well as Japanese whiskies, high-end sake and a wine collection that is out of this world. Poolside drinks are available at the rooftop Jacuzzi and infinity pool as well.

Espacio will also go to great lengths to provide little things that make the experience all the more personal, and it starts with butlers who are on hand 24/7 to assist with enhancing your vacation. From private art viewings to recommending obscure or unknown local cuisine, the Espacio staff is charged with making guests feel as if their suite isn’t just the only one on its floor, but also in the entire hotel.

At $5,000 per night, Espacio’s suites are targeted at “elite travelers” and celebrities already accustomed to the ultra-exclusive concept. Fortunately, to celebrate its opening, Espacio is offering a special September rate of $1,500 a night and then $2,500 a night from October 1 through December 19.
